Private Workshop - Learn to Crochet

We can hold a crochet session in our space for up to 8 people - although 6 is a much more comfortable number!

We recommend booking two sessions to fully learn how to crochet a whole square.

Although we'll have one crochet tutor and an extra crochet queen on hand to help you during your private party, there's still a lot of ground to cover and technique is important. 

Each session lasts for approximately 2.5 hours. Not only will you get 2 assistants to show you how to get to grips with the art of crochet, but we'll provide you with unlimited tea and coffee for you to help yourself, plus a few choices of soft drinks. 

(Private bookings with 3 or fewer participants will have one tutor).

Whilst we do recommend 2 sessions, we can alternatively organise a longer session and split into 2 halves with a break in the middle. 

The first part of your learning will include how to cast, basic movement on the needle and controlling tension. 

The second part will be using all of these techniques together to create you first crochet square. 

We'll show you examples of cool projects you can make with just a simple square and send you off with your very own crochet goodie bag so you can continue your new craft at home!
