Candle Collective UK

Candle Collective UK was founded in 2018 by Carol, shortly after relocating from Edinburgh to Liverpool.

Seven years on and every candle is still hand-poured in small batches and meticulously checked by Carol herself, ensuring the highest quality from start to finish.

The journey began in the lead-up to her own wedding in 2019, with the idea to "scent the day" in a way that would create lasting memories. Fascinated by the way scent can instantly transport us to a particular moment in time, she began researching waxes, wicks, containers and fragrance blends until she was completely satisfied with the results.

She chose soy wax for its vegan and cruelty-free credentials, as well as its clean, sustainable and long-lasting burn — perfect for creating thoughtful, conscious home fragrance.

On her wedding day, Carol had one of her own candles burning while getting ready and placed one on every table during the wedding breakfast. The scent left such an impression that guests took them home, and it became the inspiration behind what is now Candle Collective UK's Signature Collection fragrance: Rhubarb & Custard.

Carol is deeply grateful for the support her business has received and hopes each product brings a little extra joy into her customers’ homes.
